*An Accompanist will be present April 28th from 9am-1pm & April 29th from 2pm - 6pm.

For non-locals or those unavailable in person, please submit a video audition to casting.mbt@gmail.com, subject “video audition.” Please follow the same guidelines as below and state your name and union affiliation at the start of the video. Please also attach a current headshot and resume. For prime consideration, please submit audition materials by May 5, 2025.
*Non-union A Christmas Carol children’s auditions for those under the age of 14 will be at a later date.*
PREPARATION: Attach current headshot & resume and two contrasting monologues no longer than three minutes total. Those who wish to be considered for All Shook Up, Come From Away or Million Dollar Quartet, please substitute one monologue with up to 32 bars of a song in a style appropriate for one of the above shows. For video submissions, if you do not have accompaniment available to you please use the accompaniment below for the song “Heart and Music” . (Please only use “Heart and Music” if you do not have other accompaniment choices.)
Meadow Brook Theatre operates under a LORT-D contract. All rehearsals & performances are currently planned to be held indoors at the theatre. The only personnel who will have access to these auditions are Cheryl L. Marshall, Managing Director, Travis W. Walter, Artistic Director, and Britt Sicker, Stage Manager.

- Ensemble to play multiple roles.
(Most roles expected to be played by returning cast.)
All Shook Up
- Natalie Haler: A young woman & an excellent mechanic. She’s much more at home in the greasy overalls than a dress.
- Chad: A great-lookin’, motorcyclin’, guitar playin’, leather jacket roustabout.
- Jim Haller: Natalie’s widowed father. Middle-aged & messy, he still longs for his wife.
- Sylvia: The no-nonsense, African American owner of Sylvia’s Honky-Tonk.
- Lorraine: Sylvia’s teenage daughter. Pretty, smart, & a total romantic.
- Dennis: An awkward young man. He aspires to be a dentist.
- Miss Sandra: The beautiful, intellectual caretaker of the town’s museum.
- Mayor Matilda Hyde: The town’s very conservative mayor.
- Dean Hyde: Matilda’s teenage son. He has spent his youth at military boarding schools & he never disobeyed his mother.
- Sheriff Earl: The law in town & a man of not many words. He loyally follows the Major wherever she goes.
- Male & Female Ensemble: They play an assortment of Townspeople.

Come From Away
- Claude: The gregarious and well-liked Mayor of Gander, Newfoundland, Claude loves his work, the townspeople and his daily traditions, but he’s never had to deal with a crisis of this magnitude before. (40-60’s)
- Bonnie: A no-nonsense mother of 3, Bonnie is the head of the Gander area SPCA. When she discovers animals are trapped on the planes, she stops at nothing to ensure their safety - but in frustration, she often lashes out at those around her. (30-40’s)
- Beulah: The head of the Gander Legion, with a firefighter son, who walks Hannah to her church and prays with her. (40-60’s)
- Oz: The quirky constable in the two-person Gander police force. When the town’s population suddenly doubles, Oz helps out in unexpected ways. (30-50’s)
