Meet Erin Brandt

Following the 2013-2014 MBT internship, I continued to pursue a career in props. I spent a year as a prop intern at the Fulton Theatre in Lancaster, PA before being accepted to Ohio University as a grad student. I spent two and a half years earning an MFA in Props Technology and three summers as a props artisan at American Players Theatre in Spring Green, Wisconsin. I got to work on the Humana Festival of New American Plays at Actors Theatre of Louisville and worked on a couple of shows at Indiana Repertory Theatre before settling in Minneapolis to work as a staff artisan at the Guthrie Theater. I have been spending the pandemic stocking shelves at my neighborhood Target, which has kept me on my feet for over a year now. Unfortunately because of budget constraints, my former position at the Guthrie has been temporarily eliminated. However, I am hopeful that I will be able to pick up some freelance projects in the coming year. And I am looking forward to a happy, theatre-filled future.
