Meet the Cast of A Christmas Carol's Past: Jason Bruce

Meet Jason Bruce

I starred as Peter Cratchit during the 1994 (13th "Carol" & 29th MBT) season. I belonged to The Talent Shop acting and modeling agency and remained an actor for several years after, starring in several televised PSA's filmed at The University of Michigan. I went on to become the youngest Chairman ever for Rochester's own Art 'N' Apples Festival and was also the youngest Chairman of the Rochester Area Jaycees Haunted House. After graduating from high school, I went on to study both forensic and mortuary science at a private college in Cincinnati. Upon graduation, I moved to San Francisco and began to study music production. I fell in love with writing and producing electronic dance music, eventually becoming a full-time DJ and producer. I was scouted and signed by a Universal Music affiliate Record Label and Sony Music Entertainment. I currently have produced several EDM tracks available for purchase worldwide. I have had tremendous success in the EDM scene and am known worldwide as a highly skilled DJ, producer, and remix artist. As one of the top 1000 EDM producers, I now live in Florida and perform at festivals and nightclubs, while also producing my own tracks at my personal studio. I am climbing to becoming one of the Top Progressive Trance and House DJs in the world. To protect myself from the public eye, I have a famous stage name and that I am now known by and a fan base of over 200,000 around the world. I am going to remain a signed artist and will continue to release both singles and albums through Sony Worldwide Distribution. I look back at my time in A Christmas Carol as one of the best times of my life and continues to have great respect for the late Charles Nolte, his partner Terry Kilburn, and of course, the late Booth Colman.

I played Belinda Cratchit/Fan in 1997 (I think) and Christmas Past/Belinda in 1998. I ended up moving to Boston and attended college and medical school at Harvard and became a rheumatologist. My husband and I will be moving back to Michigan in 2020 with our first baby (due this Thanksgiving!) and I'll be taking a Clinical Assistant Professor position at the University of Michigan.

I played Martha Cratchit in 1998. I went on to get a degree in Theatre Performance at Western Michigan University. Soon after graduating, I shifted gears to behind the camera. After moving to New York City in 2010, I worked as an Associate Producer on several Investigation Discovery shows and MSNBC's "Caught on Camera" and then was hired at "Late Night with Seth Meyers" and helped launch the show in 2014. I am currently Late Night's sole Field Producer and have produced over 250 segments with everyone from Rihanna to Michelle Obama. I also produce and direct in my spare time. "Woman of a Certain Age", a project I co-directed, premiered at Tribeca Film Festival N.O.W. and went on to win top awards at the Women in Comedy Festival in 2018. Also in 2018, I directed a short film, "Driver Ed", that made its premiere at Tribeca Film Fest. I produce a popular feminist, sex positive podcast called "Girls on Porn" that is distributed by HeadGum. Currently I reside in Brooklyn and have several more projects that I'm excited to share with the world!
