Accessibility Statement

Meadow Brook Theatre believes in equal opportunity and is committed to providing a barrier-free environment that allows all people to maintain their independence and dignity. We believe that everyone should have equal access to our productions and programs. The limitations imposed upon us by budget constraints and building design mean we cannot provide all the services we would like at this time, but we are continuing to work on methods to better serve patrons with all manner of disabilities and special needs.

Meadow Brook Theatre complies with all current ADA Standards (Americans with Disabilities Act). Entrance ramps and elevator access are available at all entrances. Push button accessible doors are available at the Wilson Boulevard entrance. Please mention any seating or accessibility needs you have when making your reservation so that we can ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience at the theatre.

Accessible Seating

If you are in a wheelchair or are using a walker, we do have an accessible area for seating. It is spacious and allows for companion seating as well. Accessible seating can only be purchased through the Box Office. Please call the Box Office at 248-377-3300 to purchase your tickets and let us know that you’ll need the wheelchair or walker accessible seating area.

Assisted Listening Devices

Have you ever had a problem hearing a performance?  That doesn’t need to be an issue any longer.  Thanks to a very generous donation by TCF Bank, we have new assisted listening devices. They’re small and easy to use and they won’t cost you a thing!  Just stop by the Box Office on your way in to see the play.
