Meet the Cast of A Christmas Carol's Past: Lauren Jenks

Meet Lauren Jenks (now Jenks-Jones)

I'm not exactly sure of the year I was in A Christmas Carol  but am guessing 1996 or 97.  That year was full of MBT kids!  The Carpenters, Alice Sherman, Katie Mahard and some other, too, I believe.  [Editor's Note: Lauren's mother Barbara Jenks was costume shop manager at the time & step-father Peter W. Hicks was the scenic designer of many sets at MBT including A Christmas Carol.]  Now I live and work in Oklahoma City!  After graduating from the University of Arkansas, I joined Teach for America and taught kindergarten in OKC.  Last year I started a new position at the Oklahoma State Department of Education and graduated with my Masters in Education Leadership.  My husband Cody and I are expecting our first child, a little girl, in May.
